5. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds
All products, systems, and services provided by Skyline Technologies, Inc. are governed by the applicable written agreement, proposal, purchase order, or service contract.
Due to the customized and professional nature of security systems integration, the following policies apply:
5.1 Return Authorization (RMA) & Timeframe
- All return requests and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) requests must be submitted within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of delivery.
- Returns or RMA requests submitted after 30 days will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- No equipment may be returned without prior written RMA approval from Skyline Technologies, Inc.
5.2 Equipment & Materials
- Security equipment, hardware, and materials that are special-ordered, configured, programmed, licensed, installed, or deployed are non-returnable and non-refundable.
- Opened, installed, programmed, or modified equipment cannot be returned.
- Software licenses, subscriptions, firmware, and digital products are non-refundable once issued or activated.
5.3 Uninstalled / Unused Items
- At Skyline Technologies, Inc.’s sole discretion, unopened and unused standard equipment may be eligible for return only with prior written RMA approval.
- Approved returns may be subject to:
- Restocking fees
- Shipping and handling charges
- Manufacturer return policies
5.4 Services
- Professional services including design, engineering, installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and consulting are non-refundable once performed.
- Labor charges incurred prior to cancellation remain payable.
5.5 Order Cancellations
- Project cancellations must be submitted in writing.
- Any costs incurred prior to cancellation including labor, equipment procurement, engineering, permitting, logistics, or third-party expenses remain the responsibility of the client.
5.6 Defective Equipment
- Defective equipment may be eligible for repair or replacement only in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Skyline Technologies, Inc. is not responsible for manufacturer warranty outcomes, delays, or determinations.
5.7 No Implied Returns
- No returns, refunds, credits, or exchanges are offered unless explicitly stated in a written agreement signed by both parties.
